When We Were Very Young by A. A. Milne
From Goodreads
When We Were Very Young and Now We Are Six complete the four-volume set of deluxe editions of the Milne and Shepard classic works. Like their companions, the Winnie-the-Pooh 80th Anniversary Edition and The House At Pooh Corner, these beautiful books feature full-colour artwork on cream-coloured stock. The imaginative charm that has made Pooh the world’s most famous bear pervades the pages of Milne’s poetry, and Ernest H. Shepard’s witty and loving illustrations enhance these truly delightful gift editions.

Review
This book has been on my bookshelf for an extremely long time and I’ve only ever read bits of it until now. After reading it in its entirety I wondered why I left it so long to read it. I wasn’t disappointed and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. It was the third book, according to Good Reads, in the Winnie-the-Pooh series. I loved the poetry, and the stories that these poems told. It’s a classic book which has stood the test of time and I suspect will be around for many years to come. It was wonderful to go down memory lane again especially during this time of uncertainty.
