Review
Roger Hargreaves is well known for his Mr Men series and then many years ago he wrote an accompanying series, Little Miss, which has also proven to be popular over the years. As with all of the books in this series Little Miss Busy is easy to read, has great pictures and is fun to partake of. In Little Miss Busy weβre introduced to a person who is happiest when she is constantly busy. However, Little Miss Busy finds herself unwell and restricted to lots of bed rest. Some of her friends come to see her but none of them would allow her to do anything but rest.
This book helps to teach us that whilst itβs good to be busy we must balance this with periods of rest so as to care for ourselves as best as possible.
Recommend for: The young and young at heart.
