Review
This is a very well written book about a Christian neurosurgeon who spent a portion of his young life in Boston before he moved back some time later to his old house. The story details his journey through his teenage years and into adulthood and the navigation that this involved. From a young age he felt that he was meant to be a doctor to which end he worked extremely hard.
This book’s chapters are short and not unnecessarily wordy making it a pleasing read. The reader is made very aware of the commitment and passion that Ben posesses. I was especially heartened by the comment that before a surgery he, along with whole team of helpers associated with the surgery, prayed for God’s guidance and help during the surgery. Due to his success with some pretty complicated surgeries Ben became world famous. He had also come to Perth, Western Australia for a short time due to his pioneering work.
This is a wonderful story on so many levels that I think it would be a great addition to anyone’s library.
